Bring your own sitters
You already have great sitters. We'll do the texting.
Grandparents, neighbors, the teen down the street, your dog walker. Post the date once. SitterSorted texts the sitters on your list, in the order you choose, and tells you the moment someone says yes.
Not an agency. We don't find or employ sitters. You bring the ones you trust.

Asking your sitters shouldn't be a part-time job
Most parents already have a list of sitters they like. The hard part is the asking, the waiting, and keeping it all in your head. SitterSorted carries that part.
Without it
- Text your favorite sitter.
- Wait an hour. Check your phone again.
- Text the next one. Wait some more.
- Still not sorted. Start over.
With SitterSorted
- Post the date once.
- SitterSorted asks your sitters in order.
- The first yes gets it, and everyone else hears it's filled.
- You both get a heads-up. Done.
Only the people you choose. Ever.
Some families only use a couple of people they know well, or only family. SitterSorted works the same way: it asks your people, and no one else.
Only people you add
SitterSorted only ever texts the people on your list. Grandparents count.
Never shared or suggested
We don't suggest, introduce, or share sitters. No one you didn't add sees your requests.
You set the order
Your favorites are asked first, and backups only if they can't make it. Or ask everyone at once.
Your address stays with your sitter
It's never sent by text. Only the sitter who accepts can see it.
How it works
Add the sitters you already call
Grandparents, neighbors, the teen down the street, your dog walker. Put them in order: your favorites first, then backups. Each gets one text asking to opt in. There's no app for them to download.
Post a request
Pick the date and time. SitterSorted texts your first choice. If they say no, or don't answer in time, it moves to the next sitter.
The first yes gets the booking
You get a heads-up, everyone else hears it's been filled, and your sitter gets a link with your address and house notes.
Sitters just get a text
No app, no account, no password. Sitters reply YES or NO, or tap a link. The confirmed sitter gets a private page with your address, wifi, bedtimes, and emergency contacts, and a reminder the day before.
Always free for sitters. They can reply STOP at any time.
Parker family request: Sat Nov 14, 6:00 to 10:30pm (2 kids). Reply YES to accept or NO to pass. Or tap: app.sittersorted.com/r/k3j9

Less back-and-forth, fewer things to remember
Your sitters, your order
Primary sitters are asked one at a time. Backups are asked together if no one can. Or ask everyone at once.
Share sitter duty
Add a partner, co-parent, or family member so anyone can post a request and everyone sees the same bookings.
Repeating bookings
Every Tuesday after school? Your regular sitter is asked first, and can take every date with one reply.
Overnights and weekends away
One sitter for the whole stretch, kids or pets, with a night rate if you use one.
Quiet hours built in
Non-urgent requests wait until morning instead of buzzing your sitters at 10pm.
Keep track of what you owe
Confirm the hours after each booking and see what you owe each sitter. You pay them directly.
SitterSorted is a scheduling tool. It doesn't find, screen, or employ sitters, and it doesn't process payments to them. You choose who to add and who to book.
Whoever's free can book it
Booking sitters usually lands on one person. With SitterSorted, anyone in your household can post a request, and sitters always get a text from your family through SitterSorted. No awkward texts from someone's personal phone.
- Invite a partner, co-parent, or grandparent
- Everyone sees the same requests, bookings, and updates
- Sitters hear from your family, never a personal number
- Just you? It works exactly the same
New: works with Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok
Ask your AI assistant to sort it
Connect SitterSorted to your AI assistant. When plans come up, it can check whether you have a sitter and offer to ask your list. Nothing goes out until you say yes.
- Checks whether a night is already covered
- Shows who it would ask, and asks you before it posts or cancels
- Never sees your sitters' full names, their phone numbers, or your address
- Each parent connects with their own sign-in
Muse is on the way. How to connect

- Does SitterSorted find sitters for me?
- No. SitterSorted is for the sitters you already know: grandparents, neighbors, friends' teenagers, college students you've used before. It doesn't find, screen, or employ sitters, and it doesn't handle their pay.
- Does it work for pet sitting or house sitting?
- Yes, on the paid plan. Pick kids, pets, house, or a mix, then choose a block of time, an overnight stay, or daily visits. Save your pets' feeding, meds, and vet details once, and only the sitter who says yes sees them.
- Can I use it with family, like grandparents?
- Yes. Anyone with a cell phone who agrees to get texts can be on your list. They just reply YES or NO.
- Will anyone I didn't add ever see my request?
- No. Requests only go to the people on your list, in the order you set. SitterSorted never shares your requests with other sitters or families.
- Do my sitters need to download anything?
- No. Sitters get texts and reply YES or NO, or tap a link. They don't need an account or an app.
- How do sitters stop getting texts?
- They can reply STOP at any time. They can also reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates from their carrier may apply.
- What if two sitters say yes at the same time?
- Only one gets the booking. The other gets a quick text saying it's been filled, so no one shows up by mistake.
- Can I use it from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or another AI assistant?
- Yes. Connect SitterSorted to Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok and you can ask it whether a night is covered, or have it ask your sitters. It always checks with you before it posts or cancels a request. Muse is on the way. See sittersorted.com/assistants.
- Can someone else in my family use it?
- Yes. Invite a partner, co-parent, or family member to your household and you'll all see the same requests and bookings. It works just as well if it's only you.
